2026 Two Spirit Celebration Volunteers needed
The Autumn Two Spirit Celebration is an annual event that honors the unique and sacred roles that Two Spirit people hold/hold in Native society. These Indigenous-led events (Stomp Dance, Symposium, and Powwow) are free, open to the public, and affirming for all. Last year's (October 2025) Celebration was a collaboration with six other community entities.
The events were a wonderful success! Thank you to all who contributed, volunteered and participated, especially our partners: Cherokee Nation, Tahlequah Public Library, Squirrel Ridge Cherokee Ceremonial Ground, Tahlequah United Methodist Church, Tahlequality, and All Nations Two Spirit Society!
Our 2026 Two Spirit Celebration will be on the weekend of October 23-24, 2026. The Symposium will again be at the Tahlequah Public Library. The Powwow will be on the Cherokee Nation Powwow Arena and the Stomp Dance in the adjacent field. Many volunteers are needed.
